Security
The Hub has a high level of security services.
With advanced security systems and experienced teams on site, The Hub offers a safe and secure environment for guests and events. With extensive experience in hosting VIP guests and high-security delegations, the hotel is well equipped to accommodate guests requiring a high level of discretion, privacy and security. We are accustomed to working closely with Norwegian Police, the Armed Forces, the Norwegian Police Security Service (PST), professional close-protection teams and private security providers.
Secure accommodation
The hotel has three security floors located on the top. The hotel’s largest suite is particularly well suited for VIP and high-security stays. Located on the 16th floor, it offers limited external visibility and features strong walls facing the corridor, a video doorbell, two bedrooms and three bathrooms.
Entire floors can be restricted from access by other guests and staff, with controlled access through both elevators and stairways. The corridors are covered by CCTV, providing an additional layer of security.
For larger delegations, a dedicated wing containing the hotel’s second-largest suite and additional rooms can also be secured and reserved exclusively for the VIP party.
Security & Close Protection
The hotel has an established cooperation with PSS (Securitas) and can arrange professional security personnel and close-protection services according to the requirements of the guest or delegation. Access to a large pool of security personnel provides flexibility for both planned and short-notice requirements.
The property offers several discreet routes for VIP arrivals and departures. The underground parking facility is directly connected to the hotel and provides elevator access to the lobby, while alternative stairways offer additional access and evacuation options.
Technology & Communications
The hotel has strong connectivity throughout the property. A dedicated PC with access to ITV systems can be made available when required.
For sensitive operations, access to a closed network can also be provided, supporting secure communication and operational requirements.
Emergency response
The hotel has a well-established relationship with the police and fire services, both of which are highly familiar with the property and its layout. This close cooperation supports rapid response in the event of an emergency or security incident.
